In order for you to send Prescreen or quoting information to Aetna for a Client, you MUST meet the following requirements below:
- Your Client must display a Complete Employee Status on your Client Dashboard
- Activate DALs for your Client
Once those requirements are met, you'll be able to submit the completed applications to Aetna.
Submitting forms through FormFire
Open the orange context menu on your Client Dashboard and select Send Forms.
Now, you can set up the Prescreen submission for your Client. For the submission, you’ll select the following:
- Prescreen as the Submission Type
- Aetna as the Carrier
- Either Aetna AFA IMQ Standard Form or Aetna AFA Combined IMQ and Enrollment Form as the Form
If you need to add any notes regarding your submission to Aetna, you can do so here in Notes for Carrier. This will be added to the email that the Aetna receives.
The Recipient information for Aetna has already been added for you! Just create a password to provide to Aetna's Underwriting team.
At this point, select the Send Forms button on the screen.
Then, a Confirm Send Forms pop-up menu appears, allowing you to review the attachments you're submitting in addition to the Employees' forms - in this case the census that FormFire has added. Click Send Forms to send directly to Aetna.
Aetna will review all the information sent and contact you outside of FormFire with the official quote documentation for your Client or if they have any additional questions.
