To create a new proposal for a new Employer, start by selecting Proposals from the Navigation Menu.
Then, select the Add Proposal button on the top-right hand side of the screen.
This starts the proposal process for the new Employer. At the top of the screen, the Proposal Navigation Menu appears. The name of the page that you’re currently on will be in blue. Pages you haven’t started will be in gray, while pages you’ve completed will be blue.
Please use this menu as you go through the proposal process.

Employer Basics
Employer Basics allows you to create the Employer in FormFire FES as well as start their proposal. You also can update an existing proposal if needed. Items that are required will be underlined in red. You're tasked to enter in the Employer's name under Basic Information and the address under Contact Details.
Other information, such as contact name, email address and current coverage information are not required, but can be added for note purposes.
You also can assign appropriate Brokers' from your Agency to this Employer under Broker Setup as well as any relevant Tags and Notes. To continue to the next step, select Save & Continue.
Employee Demographics
Employee Demographics lists all Employees and dependents associated with this Employer in FormFire FES. This page defaults to show Employees only. To view any dependents, select the Family button.
When you add an Employer for the very first time, the section will be blank. You can either add the Employees manually or use the Employee Census template to add them into FormFire FES.

Proposal Configuration
Proposal Configuration allows you to set up the current proposal.
This includes:
- The name of this proposal
- This year's Effective Date
- Next year's Renewal Date
- Coverage Lines available in this proposal
To continue to the next step, select Save & Continue.
Employee Coverage Lines
Based on the coverage lines selected under Proposal Configuration, you can assign them accordingly to the Employees and their dependents here on Employee Coverage Lines.
If all Employees and their dependents are taking a coverage line, check the box by the coverage line name. However, if some are not are taking a coverage line, only check the boxes for those that will take the coverage.
To continue to the next step, select Save & Continue.
Products
Based on the information that you entered in the past 4 pages (location of the Employer, Effective Date, etc), Products generates all Carrier products that are available for the Employer.
You can:
- Filter Products
- Add and view Favorite products
- Compare up to 4 products at a time
- Select products for the current proposal

Generate Proposal
Generate Proposal is really your private product library for the Employer. All products that you’ve assigned to this Employer's proposal appear here. You can:
- Remove plans from the proposal
- Download the completed proposal
- Or export all the data into a preloaded census template for the Carrier
