The Employee Preloading Template is a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet that uses macros to validate input data and prefilled information in Employee accounts during the import process. If macros are blocked, FormFire can't upload the template. This article shows how to unblock macros in Excel for successful imports into your FormFire account.

How to unblock macros in Excel
- After downloading the Preloading Template, locate the file on your computer. It should have FormFire_Featured_Preload_Template.xlsm in the file name.
Downloaded files are typically saved to your computer's 'Downloads' folder by default. For a shortcut to this folder, go to your web browser's recent download history and select the 'Show in folder' icon to open it in File Explorer (Windows) or Finder (Mac). Please note, the recent download history can be found in different places depending on the browser. - In the file folder, right-click on the template file and select ‘Properties’ in the dropdown menu.
- Check the ‘Unblock’ checkbox and select the ‘Apply’ button.
- Open the file and enable content. Then, fill in the template and import when finished. Refer to this article for import instructions.
