When creating a new Client, you may find that the Client's Tax ID number you entered is already in use. If that's the case, don't panic.
There's a few steps to take:
1. Make sure the Tax ID number was entered correctly. This may seem like an obvious step, but often times it's just that simple.
2. Initiate a Broker Transfer. The Client may already exist in FormFire under a different book of business. You can transfer the Client, so you don't have to start over.
NOTE: If the contact information shown is not correct, or you receive a message that there are no Employees in the Client, then you must have your contact at the Client complete a the online Broker Transfer form.
