FormFire Release Notes July 20, 2021

This release, which went live on July 20, 2021, contains updates regarding Anthem for SOCA Benefit Plan, Medical Mutual COSE MEWA submissions, Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina submissions and other system improvements. Let’s take a deeper dive!

Available Carrier Censuses

The ability to auto populate censuses are an important feature of FormFire as they allow Brokers to quickly submit quote or sold group information to Carriers. Our team works to make sure that your Employer Group’s data maps accurately based on a Carrier’s specific census needs. In this release, the following census has been added to our Carrier Census catalog for you to use:

Anthem for SOCA Benefit Plan

FormFire works hard to ensure that our users can both efficiently and effectively utilize our system. Let’s look at the fixes and improvements that our team implemented in this release for Anthem for SOCA Benefit Plan.

For Brokers

• A new warning message has been created for Brokers regarding additional Ancillary documents such as Ancillary Benefit Rate Proposals, Hold Harmless Document, HSA or Tax Documents. If a Broker loads the any of these documents, but the group is not setup as an HSA group or is not submitting the coverage lines associated with those documents, they will see this pop-up message.

Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina

For Brokers

• Our team created the following items when submitting a submission to Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina:

Medical Mutual COSE MEWA

FormFire works hard to ensure that our users can both efficiently and effectively utilize our system. Let’s look at the fix and improvement that our team implemented in this release for Medical Mutual of Ohio.

For Brokers

• Our team became aware that some Brokers were receiving an error message when submitting a Sold Group submission regarding the COSE MEWA Employer Application file type. This has been corrected. Brokers will no longer receive an error message regarding the Employer Application file type.

For Brokers

• Our team is aware that Brokers could see certain reports related to their Base Group, or the group that housed all the Broker accounts for their Agency, in the Reporting page. This has been corrected. Going forward, the person listed as the Beneficiary Administrator for the Agency will have access to reports related to the Base Group.
• Our team has updated the AultCare Medical Enrollment Census, that was released on May 11, 2021, to include dependent addresses every time the census is generated even if the dependent shares the same address as the Employee.
