What is a DAL?

DAL is an acronym for Data Access License. Each Employee counts as one DAL (1 DAL = 1 employee account).

Activating DALs

DAL activation takes place when a Client's data is sent to the Carrier, an Employee form is created or when a census is generated. FormFire provides a DAL activation confirmation screen to confirm user intent. Once the DAL is activated it will remain active until the Employee is no longer with a Client.

Low DAL Warning

FormFire will send low DAL notifications when available DALs fall below 100. If you received this notification, please contact billing@formfire.com. It may be necessary to purchase additional DALs.
